3 Keys To Releasing Self-doubt

1. Faith: In order to be successful we need to approach with faith. Confidence comes from the latin word 'fidere', which means to have faith in. The next time you are experiencing self-doubt, allow yourself to imaging moving forward with complete faith in yourself, your guides and the universe backing you all the way. I have found that it also helps to remember that all of my inspiration and dreams come from God and to the degree that I am faithfully committed to creating them, the universe will step in and meet me at least half the way.

2. Surrender the ego: We can choose to put the power of our mind in the hands of our ego or in the hands of our spirit. The ego thrives on being right, on being special and on making us wrong in the eyes of our soul. The ego will do all that it can to keep from a deep relationship from your soul; it feeds off of feeling separate, being selfish, and believing that you have to compete with everything and everyone to get what you want.

Even when we have a solid connection to our soul, as I do, it is necessary to check in with the ego and see where it is creating undesirable outcomes and conflict. I am going through this type of situation myself. I was guided by my spirit to release "my grip" if you will on a sum of money that I had been living off of and supporting myself and my daughter for many years. I was guided to use this money to develop my gifts and invest in my business, and also to put some money into a new home I was building with my husband at the time. In order to do this, I had to come to an agreement with my husband that I would be valued for the contribution of love and support I brought to the family and be compensated monthly until I could also contribute financially from my business. I also received very clear intuitive guidance that when the money was gone I would create an opening for ten times that amount to come in, and keep coming in.

All was good until we filed for divorce. The income stopped. My business expenses soared through the roof and the money was gone. Advances on my settlement were not happening, interim support was not there, my ex was delaying proceedings to hide money, and there was no sign of a settlement in sight.

I had a choice. I could choose to remain faithful to myself, God, my vision, and my guidance and consciously choose to use my faith towards a positive outcome, knowing that faith is always rewarded. Or, I could choose to allow my ego to fill me with self-doubt, to undermine the guidance I received and followed, and to further destroy my level of self-confidence which would adversely affect all of the hard work I had put into my business to date.

I chose to use the power of my mind in remaining faithful to myself and my purpose. I surrendered my ego to God for the transformation to victorious outcomes, even better than I had expected, immediately.

3. Reveal hidden investments: The next time you are faced with undesirable outcomes that serve to increase your self- doubt look at the hidden investment is for you to create the undesirable outcome. Usually this involves something that would keep you from succeeding, from becoming all that you were meant to be, something that serves to keep you playing at life in a small way. For me it was being the victim and needing for my ex to be this way in order for me to feel better about my decision to get divorced. The truth is that if I were being completely faithful to myself and to God I would not have needed that validation.

Choose to put faith in the outcomes that you want, release your self -doubt, surrender your ego, reveal your hidden investments in undesirable outcomes and then choose again.
