When you practice your putting make sure you do it near a golf ball. This way you will be able to start feeling the pace in putting the ball. Once you are comfortable enough with your posture and tempo of swinging the putter, you can start focusing on the ball instead of the putter and how you swing the putter. To help you stay focus, set a point where you aim the ball. When you practice you can make two straight lines and hit the ball so that it goes just in between the two lines and straight into the hole. During your practice remember that you can have a straight course or that the hole you have to aim to can be in an upward position. Whichever the case your posture should be the same in order to help you have good putting, but the point where you send the ball is different.
