The Natural Healing Power Of Juice

By: Fred Jones

Tired? It may be from the lack of exercise, from a poor sleeping habit, or maybe bad genes are at play. It could be any of those; but more often than not, it's usually because of a poor diet. Think about it. Exercise is a purely variable activity to some people, an activity that may or may not overcome the shackles of hereditary genes and everyday routines; a routine such as when, or if, a person sleeps, let alone gets enough. What can be said for any person's tendency to tire out is, well, what they take into their bodies. This is all about food. Because while food may still vary from person to person, it's a relative occurrence that what they consume affects the energy they can benefit. The phrase, "You are what you eat," comes into full play here, so pardon the cliché.

Of course, one can ask the question of why a diet is such a big deal. Well, for anyone with a brain capable of rational thought and simple logic, it's obvious that food plays a big role in our bodies. It's the oil that fuels the car, so to speak. Human beings cannot derive energy any other way so easily. Even exercise does not deliver energy; because exercise simply optimizes the output of energy, and does not create it. Again, like a car, exercise is like a monthly tune up, but not the gas station. To be blunt, food is our one and only gas station.

Most people can and will benefit from a better diet. Notice that I used the word better and not healthy. Contrary to what some nuts will say, eating healthy is a relative term. This is because each of our bodies are holistically different; we still require the most common and predictable needs, but certain people benefit more of less by different foods. The main problem to diagnose here is to ascertain what people eat enough of, and what is it they don't eat enough of. This is the tricky part. For example, the average American consumes plenty of meat. Thus, the average American gets more than their recommended dose of proteins and fatty acids. You see, it's not that meat is bad for you; it's simply that too much of it is bad for you. In short, it's a food that most humans can do without; as in, it's not a daily nutritional requirement. In the end, some people may find that they tire easily because they simply consume too much of one thing, and to begin with it turns out to be a largely extraneous food!

The consequence of this is, as you might have guessed, exhaustion; also a slower reaction time, and a too relaxed train of thought. Being tired is not fun at all, at least when one needs to be at the top of their game. And so, as an example, one method to fuel and energize your body is to drink juice. In their realm of relative diets and holistic bodies, juice serve the most well rounded and varied purpose. This isn't a marketing plug, and so I can't tell you which brands to go out and buy. Just don't buy the regular kinds; they're usually sugar water mixed with apple juice, a known filler used by the industry. Drink mixed juices, preferably pulpy or thick blends. Believe me, these juices complement any meal, and act like a natural vitamin supplement. And unlike a vitamin supplement, the body naturally digests the ones found in juice; because it must. Unlike in a pill, it doesn't reject it outright by converting it to waste.
